Big News!
Where is Emily these days?
This October Emily was selected by the arts organization 14C, to join their Fall Special Project Residency. Since then, Emily has been working hard to create the proposed installation. Both the birds from her “The Children Came to Visit” and the fish from her most recent Fish is Fish series, share the focus in her 1300 sq foot studio as she paints, sculpts and builds her vision.
The fish and the birds, signifying the beginning and the end of life, respectively, come together in this large scale installation, which aims to capture the cycle of life through artistic expression.
Follow along with Emily and her Special Project Residency on her IG @agreendoorstudio and @project14C. The studios will be open to the public the first weekend of December & by appt.
Be sure to stay tuned for the culmination of the residencies and the final exhibition of the work!
